Lecture and Show: LGBTQ Activism & Experience in Queens

July 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

free

This Summer of Pride continues! Join Greater Astoria Historical Society for an hour of history, community & sharing at the long-running gay venue Albatross Bar, where our friend & Astoria, New York resident Brendan Fay will speak briefly on LGBTQ activism in Queens, New York. There will also be cocktails, a raffle & discussion!

Stay after for the 8pm show: Candy Samples live at Albatross! She’s not to be missed, and profits from HER show go to BRAKING AIDS Ride.

These are free events for the community, but donations at both are appreciated, and going to our good causes (so bring $ for the drinks, tips & raffle, too)!
